Abstract
The researcher sets out the contributions of Oman's scholars across all ages to the Qurʾanic sciences generally, concentrating on what each of the scholars mentioned in the research contributed within those sciences. The importance of the research appears in what it gathers between its covers: a definition of the Qurʾanic sciences; a brief definition of each science in turn; a brief introduction to each scholar treated; and an enumeration of the contributions of each Omani scholar to the Qurʾanic sciences, taken individually. The research aims to establish the contributions of Oman's scholars to the service of the Qurʾanic sciences generally; to document the scholarly heritage those scholars left; and to bring their scholarly production in these aspects of the Qurʾanic sciences before readers, the public and researchers.
