Abstract
The contemporary digital environment is witnessing rapid shifts in the ways religious knowledge is accessed and received, given the wide spread of digital platforms and artificial-intelligence applications and the new routes to information and knowledge these have opened for young people. This has been reflected in the patterns by which the Prophetic biography is received and engaged with, as digital platforms and artificial-intelligence applications grow in influence as channels of access to information — which calls for attention to the actual presence of the Prophetic biography in the digital environment and to the accuracy and reliability of the content available about it. In the Sultanate of Oman it is important to establish the reality of how the Prophetic biography is received in the digital environment, the extent of its presence on the platforms young people turn to, and the effectiveness with which its content reaches them under present technological change.
