Abstract
Any civilization that wishes to endure must concentrate on its foundations and constants and present them afresh to new generations and to others in a form that shows their merits in the language of the age. Muslims are therefore called to present Islamic civilization by setting out the features of their religion, values and constants in an attractive form that draws the observer towards the greatness and refinement of that civilization — and among these is close attention to the biography of the Prophet of Islam, the mercy to the worlds, by displaying his virtues and character. This research accordingly seeks to reveal the role of Omanis in making the virtues of the Prophetic biography clear, through the Prophetic panegyrics and descriptions of the Prophet's qualities that they composed, presenting an outstanding example of them in the poems of Abū Muslim al-Bahlānī.
