Hadiths of the Prophetic Biography in the Early Books of Transmission
Aḥādīth al-Sīrah al-Nabawīyah fī Kutub al-Riwāyah al-Mutaqaddimah
أحاديث السيرة النبوية في كتب الرواية المتقدمة
Abstract
This research aims to collect and arrange the hadiths of the Prophetic biography found in the early books of transmission by Omani transmitters from the first to the third century AH. The researcher follows an inductive collecting method, gathering the hadiths of the Prophetic biography and then ordering them from the birth of the Prophet to his death, drawing on the early books of transmission composed by Omanis or having an Omani transmitter in their chain of authority, from the first to the third century AH. The expected outcomes are the assembly of those hadiths and their systematic arrangement. The importance of the problem lies in the fact that the biography of the Prophet is the sure guide and the straight path, and that Omanis were careful to study it and to record it from the earliest period of transmission.
