الدور العماني في العلاقات التجارية الدولية عبر التاريخ
Abstract
Trade has been a link between nations and peoples since the dawn of history, being an important pillar of the world economy with its consequent effect on international relations. The Omani role in international commercial relations and in the unity of the Muslim community across successive historical epochs constitutes an important historical and economic turning point in relations among nations and peoples. When Islam came, the civilizational ties between Oman and other peoples increased, particularly in the commercial field, and this appeared plainly in Oman's commercial relations with East Africa, India, China and other regions. The Omani role in international commercial relations proceeded from requirements holding a common ground between the people of Oman and other peoples, particularly Muslim peoples united by the religion of Islam, which calls for the unity of the Muslim community.
